Summary

Art is a self-discovery process of finding yourself in the middle of chaos which we call life. I have discovered I like working with clay to make sculptural ceramics. I also love oil painting which comes alive with color and lively brush strokes.

My inspiration to make art stems from a love of learning and a curiosity about the nature of people and relationships. As an artist I strive to create works of art that have a personal meaning which also communicates to others. My ambition to become a professional artist has motivated me to exhibit my work as much as possible and my journey to succeed will broaden and illuminate me as an artist. I have an associates in art from Central Texas College and a Bachelors in Fine Arts with studio art emphasis at The University of Mary Hardin Baylor.

I live in South Korea right now teaching English but I am starting to get back into drawing and making art. I am doing a series of portraits right now as a start to my current portfolio. My art is a little bit different from my past work. Please check out the current art and stay tuned for new art.

After moving back to the states at the end of this year, I plan to work on becoming an art teacher at a middle school or high school. I still strive for professionalism in my own art but I love kids and want to inspire them to become a new generation of artists.
